Subsequently the Raceday Stewards ordered the withdrawal of Habu, trained by M.J. Tynan, for failing to present the horse for identification to an IHRB Official in accordance with the provisions of Rule 90 (i). The Raceday Stewards interviewed M. J. Tynan in relation to the matter, who stated that he had a puncture on the motorway which caused the delay in arrival time. Having considered evidence the Raceday Stewards accepted the explanation offered.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident at around the five furlong marker involving Enchanted Lady (GB), ridden by C. Cusack and Lough Leane, ridden by A. Browne-Souza, where it appeared interference may have occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. C. Cusack stated that where the railing comes out slightly on the bend he let out a shout before things got tight and that contact was made. A. Browne-Souza stated that his mount was hanging slightly right but he felt there was no contact and believed he was clear of Enchanted Lady (GB). Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that A. Browne-Souza was in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden carelessly and having considered his clean record in this regard they suspended him for two racedays.
